Here's an excerpt from the animatic I did for an episode of El Tigre called "Yellow Pantera." I think it's one of my favorite episodes of the series so far. This episode deals with Manny calling his father a coward and really believing it. Harsh stuff. The board was so good on this one that it made me want to animate the whole thing! But, that's crazy, so I just did as many scenes as I could in the time I had. In this sequence, Manny goes off and tries to defeat Mal Verde, the meanest bandido off all time. Of course, he has no idea what he's getting himself into. It was boarded by Eddie Trigueros and directed by Dave Thomas. I did the timing, rough animation, sound effects, temp music, and timecode.

Perfect.
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing, man!
Saw the episode. Loved the episode. Thanks for sharing the animatic! Very cool to see the behind the scenes work.
Thanks everyone!
Great Animatics. I would like to know what software did you use to create the different parts of the story (Sound, Storyboard, Animatics, etc).
Hey claudio, we do the storyboards in Photoshop, and the animatics in Flash. And we just import eh sound into Flash as well.
And the time reference? You added it by hand??
I am curious because I am creating a Flash animated series too, but I am new to the whole process.
Thanks for the info.
Claudio
Yup, I made us the foot and frame counter in flash. The black one is the overall count, and the green is keyframed to start at every new scene, with the red one used when scenes overlap (dissolves and such).
OMG my bro still wont stop laughing at that "why they have to put the mountians peak... all the way at the top?!" lol i love this show and you guys put so much symbolism into the show! Like that book maria was holding up about the cobra snake thing. it was by "dr. swarr" that's actually gabe swarr (one of the producers) oh and what the names stand for is sweetatude dude!
