Okay, due to many many requests, here are the chords and TABs for "Party Tonight" from Regular Show episode "Mordecai & the Rigbys". Now go play yore hearts out!
This episode of Regular Show aired last week. I wrote and storyboarded it with Shion Takeuchi. This is an earlier storyboard version that contains more/different jokes and a couple of cool different scenes that had to be cut. There was some funny stuff in this version that I was proud of and missed in the final, but what can you do. Enjoy!
UPDATE: I also wrote the songs that were featured in this episode and I thought they were going to be re-recorded by the composers, but they just kept my versions in. I just recorded everything in my apartment playing the different parts and threw a drum loop on there. Also both these songs are extended versions because the versions in the final episode had to be cut down for time.
PARTY TONIGHT (note: this is me singing scratch, latter replaced with Mordecai's voice)
SWEET LITTLE BABY as sung by Angel (actually me in the final episode, but this is a scratch version as well)
UPDATE 2: Here are the lyrics to the Party Tonight song for those who are interested.
Your eyes staring into my eyes Who am I but a guy with two eyes on the prize And the prize in my eyes is 10 times The surprise in your eyes as I kiss you goodnight.
Your smile is the fire that rocks my soul gonna remember it until I grow old 'Cause life is too short we gotta do things right So baby let's just party to-night- Baby let's just party to-night
We've come out on top, We're in front of the line We're here to rock out and have a good time 'Cause the past is the past and the future is bright So baby let's just party to-night Baby let's just party to-night
Here are the original versions of the songs I wrote for the Flapjack half-hour special "All Hands on Deck". It's just me singing and playing the guitar. They were eventually re-recorded by the composer and the voice actors for the final show. Enjoy!
"I Wanna Be A Real Adventurer" - sung by Flapjack
"Look At Me, I'm A Sailor!" - sung by Flapjack
"Mamma and Pappa and Baby Me" - sung by Thomas Hatch, K'nuckles, & Bubbie
"Poseidon's Wrap-up" - sung by Poseidon
This song was going to go over the credits, and JK Simmons even recorded the vocals for it, but I guess they just decided to put some more Issac Brock theme music there instead.
