The Walker

If you live in or around SilverLake in Los Angeles, then you should know who this is. He is The Walker. No matter what day of the week, or time of day, you have about an 85%-90% chance of seeing this man walking around. He is an older man probably in his 50's with skin that looks like leather. He wears short purple shorts ( he used to wear red, but I'm guessing they just got too worn out) and is usually reading a giant newspaper. Yes, reading while walking. Or he's on his cellphone. The rumor around my circle of friends is that he's a doctor who's on call, which is why you can see him walking in the middle of the day, 7 in the morning, or, no joke, 12 at night. If anyone has more insight into who this man is, let me know.

Such fluidity of line, it sort of reminds me of Sasek (one of my favorites), is it in ink?

Thanks klahd! Sasek is one of my favorites as well! But it's not fancy ink, just pen.

His name is Dr. Mark Abrams. He is an actual practicing Doctor and I know this for a fact.
