Wanna know a secret? You might try making a little "scarecrow" for your plant. My mom uses a bunch of strips of aluminum foil dangling from a branch or stick by strings. They sparkle and move and make enough noise to keep the birds away.

I was lounging on my patio this afternoon, and decided to draw a comic. This is based on a true story! Dang birds always stealing my tomatoes!
